I recently had a great Solo Wedding reception booking at Hawthbush Farm near Heathfield in East Sussex. What a great venue for a celebration! A working farm with a brewery and excellent Wedding facilities including cottages for guests to stay in.
Originally my clients Emma and Nick had it all set for last year but sadly, due to the pandemic, their plans were scuppered.
Things were back on track this year thankfully and the happy couple went for it big time.
I had the pleasure of playing during the reception and Wedding Breakfast and even received an ovation when I finished my second set.

The couple met over a mutual love of all things Beatles so they tapped me for anecdotes about the time the Jonny Hepbir Quartet performed for Sir Paul McCartney!
Amusingly to the venue and myself, Emma and Nick scribbled out the order of day hurriedly before the guests arrived. Arguably, one of THE best I've ever seen and in keeping with the relaxed feel of the day.
