The JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ TRIO in concert for Hurst Festival 2026. We had an amazing time performing to a packed hall last week at Danny House, Hurstpierpoint in East Sussex.
This was the primary concert venue for the festival, and it was wonderful to be invited back this year. Playing Gypsy Jazz is particularly enjoyable in such a setting.
We were nearly acoustic, with just a hint of microphone amplification for atmosphere. It's wonderful when this is achievable, but occasionally a stronger sound is necessary.

I offer personalized tuition for players new to the Gypsy Swing style, as well as advanced coaching for experienced players looking to enhance their skills.
Lessons can be scheduled as regular or one-time sessions for individuals or small groups, available both in person and online.
I provide one-on-one lessons at my home in Margate, ranging from 1-hour sessions to full-day sessions based on your needs (lunch and refreshments are included for full-day participants).
For those unable to attend in person, I also offer online lessons.
