This Sunday 10th July at 3pm, you can catch Kent based Swing Jazz Duo, Loulou Swing at the Red Lion, Crockham Lane, Hernhill near Faversham in Kent ME13 9TU.
The Duo features Louise Cookman on vocals and Jonny Hepbir on guitar.
Louise is one of the leading big band, jazz and swing era vocalists in the UK. Her rich, velvety voice, an instinctive musicality and a warm and witty stage presence have all ensured that she has been a hit with audiences all over the UK and abroad.
Having known each other for a few years, we thought it would be good to finally start working together.
Our first gig was a street party over the Jubilee weekend in Faversham. We were joined on clarinet by Big Band maestro/amazing musician Peter Long and the awesome bassist Dave Chamberlain to make up a swinging Quartet. Both musicians are really well known on the U.K. jazz scene. We felt really spoilt!

This Sunday we're performing in our core Duo setting with a couple of fun-packed sets of swing jazz, groovy bossas with a few surprises..
The Red Lion is a great country pub with great food and drinks and the audience sits on the green opposite to where we're playing so the whole vibe is a chilled affair. Come and spend your Sunday with us!
