Last week we had the pleasure of playing at this groovy Festival Style Wedding in the village of Hedgerley near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.
My happy couple Claudia and Will, chose the JONNY HEPBIR TRIO to provide the swing jazz sounds to help them celebrate with family and friends during the day.
Held in the garden of Claudia's parents house, there was enough space in a nearby field for clamping tents so no-one was going anywhere! Especially after the generous selection of cocktails that were on offer.
Our first set was in the garden for drinks and canapés and we literally played the last notes of our final tune and the heavens opened but that 'dampen' anyone's spirits.
Here's my guitar reclining on the double bass amidst the luscious greenery.
Luckily there was a massive teepee which everyone piled into for dinner and our second set of swing classics. It actually only rained in short bursts and thankfully, not particularly heavy.
I received a really nice message from Claudia a couple of days later.
