Jonny Hepbir Gypsy Jazz Guitarist at Goodwood Festival Of Speed.

Here's a picture from my time at Festival Of Speed in Goodwood, Chichester West Sussex. I'm standing outside Goodwood House in front of the stage, where as part of the house Swing Jazz Quintet, we were performing three sets each day for the four day event.

All the famous racers were there, Valentino Rossi, Lando Norris, Damon Hill and Jackie Stewart to name a few, were all mooching about. If you're a petrol head, this was the place to be. It was incredibly hot though and even the onsite accommodation was lacking in cool breezes, luckily we had about eight industrial fans in our room to take the pressure off.

The concert will feature traditional Gypsy Jazz, and I am truly honoured to have been invited to perform this year as part of the official music and events program.

Roberto and I have been playing Gypsy Jazz together for almost a decade, so there's a lot of on-stage chemistry. The audience can look forward to fiery solos, rhythmic interplay, heartwarming ballads, and infectious foot-tapping swing, all in the style of Django Reinhardt!

The concert is scheduled quite early in the day, at 11 am on Friday, 14th August, at the Queens Road Baptist Church.
