JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ GUITARIST will be featured at 'An Evening With Wine Garden Of England' at Revelation Ashford in Kent for Ashford Food & Drink Festival 2026 on Friday 26th June from 6.45pm.
I'm excited to return to this well-loved event in Ashford. This will be my third appearance, and I'll be delivering an energetic Gypsy Jazz backdrop as everyone enjoys the delicious food and samples the excellent wines available!
Another return booking was at Canterbury Christchurch University for their Alumni Awards Gala Dinner. I play a solo set during the drinks reception before being joined by the multi-talented Jerome Davies on Double Bass for the main event.
GYPSY JAZZ CONCERTS
I'm excited to announce two Gypsy Jazz special presentation concerts coming up in Kent.
The first is for Official Broadstairs Folk Week featuring myself and my good friend Roberto Soto.
The concert will be filled with traditional Gypsy Jazz, and I am truly honoured to have been invited to perform this year and be included in the official music and events program.
Roberto and I have been playing Gypsy Jazz together for nearly ten years so there's a lot of on-stage telepathy going on. The audience can expect expect fiery solos, rhythmical interplay, heart-tugging ballads and infectious foot-tapping swing all in the style of Django Reinhardt!
The concert is quite early in the day, 11am on Friday 14th August at the Queens Road Baptist Church.

This next one is going to be dynamite! I'm really looking forward to bringing, in my opinion, one of the finest Gypsy Jazz guitarists in the U.K. to Margate for a special feature.
On Thursday 12th November from 7.30pm you can watch and hear the Roma master Ducato Piotrowski live at Rosslyn Court.
'Ducato Piotrowski is a prominent London based Gypsy Jazz guitarist recognised for work in the U.K. and Internationally. Known for his ‘fiery’ Django Reinhardt-inspired style, he frequently performs at top venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the Royal Festival Hall and Pizza Express Jazz Club.
He is the go-to player for many renowned, European Sinti (Gypsy) guitarists when they perform in the U.K. including Mozes Rosenberg, Paulus Schafer and Wawau Adler amongst others.
He also collaborates on projects with diverse musicians such as Mercury Prize-winning pianist Joe Webb and clarinettist Giacomo Smith.
Joining Ducato for what promises to be an electrifying concert is Margate Gypsy Jazz guitarist Jonny Hepbir and bassist Jerome Davies.'
Booking advisable as this will be the most authentic Gypsy Jazz concert seen in Margate.
