Jonny Hepbir Gypsy Jazz Guitarist Performing In Somerset on 5th, 6th & 7th June | Jonny Hepbir Also Appearing With Loulou Swing & Metro Vipers In Broadstairs & Maidstone, Kent | Gypsy Jazz Band Hire

JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ GUITARIST will be in Somerset for three performances on the 5th, 6th and 7th June.

I'll be appearing with rhythm guitarist Dave Lunniss at all three. The first gig is a Gypsy Jazz duo on Friday 5th June at Greenway Farm Restaurant, Skimmerton Lane, Wembdon, Bridgwater TA5 2AX.

The action starts at 7pm and listeners can expect fiery Django Reinhardt classics mixed up with Swing Jazz standards and a few Latin favourites for good measure.

The next performance is a Quartet concert on Saturday 6th June from 7.30pm at Bridgwater Arts Centre, Castle Street, Bridgwater TA6 3DD for a twinning event.

The band also features violinist Clare Mactaggart and Ron Phelan on double bass. This should be a real roof-raiser!

The venue is great, I played a sell-out concert here a few years ago with my own Trio and I had the pleasure of working with Ron, a superb musician, a couple of years ago when I was gigging in the area.

Also, Bridgwater Arts Centre has been in existence on it's Castle Street site since 1946 and it's the oldest funded Arts Centre in England.

Finally on Sunday 7th June from 4pm, Dave and I will be appearing at The White Horse Inn, Stogumber, Taunton TA4 3TA for more Gypsy Jazz goodness!

Two Kent public gigs this month.

The first is Loulou Swing Duo at The Magnet at 37 Albion Street, Broadstairs. Always great playing here at this fab award-winning pub.

Lou and I will be kicking off our swing thing from 3pm!

A few days later on Wednesday 17th June 7pm you can catch me playing with the formidable Metro Vipers at Maison Frederic located at 13-15 Earl Street, Maidstone ME14 1PL.

Apparently the food is exceptional, a bit like the music will be! Our first time here in Maidstone so come on down for all manner of musical treats.
