The JONNY HEPBIR TRIO are an all-strings, vintage style combo with years of experience playing at private events and weddings all over the U.K.

The band play a style of jazz that was originated by the Hot Club Of France in the 1930's and 1940's that featured the stunning guitarist Django Reinhardt. It was much later on that the genre became known as Gypsy Jazz, Gypsy Swing or Jazz Manouche.
Our classic line-up of two acoustic guitars and double bass is a great alternative to bands with drums and saves on space, that alone is popular with many venues we've played at.
We can even play acoustically if there are noise-restrictions in place.
The pulsating swing jazz rhythms, recognisable melodies with a few groovy Bossas thrown in, help make the Jonny Hepbir Trio a favourite musical go-to for many happy couples on their wedding day.
Recently the band were booked to play at a fantastic wedding reception at Deans Court in Wimborne Minster, Dorset.
It was a great afternoon and we had a lot of fun serenading guests with our infectious swing jazz sound. Everyone nibbled on mini beef burgers, fish n' chips and micro-roasts while we got those feet tapping and more than a few people dancing once the champagne had kicked in and inhibitions had left!

The Jonny Hepbir trio can cater for small and large events, whether you're after a background ambiance or music for dancing, we will tailor the music perfectly to your requirements.
You can even have the Trio with different instruments!
You can exchange a guitar or bass for either violin, clarinet/saxophone, accordion or female vocals.
