December is looking good for Swing Jazz with a variety of bookings coming up with a couple of different bands.
Here's a short video taken at my SOLO gig at Fez Margate last week. I'm playing over a basic 'Blues in C' based on Django Reinhardt's classic tune 'Blues Claire'. It was great to have people dancing for a big chunk of my sets, I just tried to keep them on their feet!
I'll be back at Fez in the New Year on Sunday 22nd January from 3pm! Come on down, always a good session.
This Friday evening I'll be taking up the rhythm chair once more with the fabulous Pete Long's Pocket Basie Band in Vauxhall, London for another swing dance extravaganza.

This Sunday 11th December from 3pm I'll be playing with METRO VIPERS at The Magnet, 37 Albion Street, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 1NE.
This should be a roof-raiser at this fine, award-winning establishment. We'll be playing a choice selection of swing and jazz tunes mixed in with a few Christmas tunes for the season.

Next Wednesday 14th December from 7pm, I'll be playing Solo Gypsy Jazz Guitar at 'Stories and The Past' vintage/retro shop at 84 Queen Street Ramsgate CT11 9ER for an evening of Art Deco cocktails and canapés.
