As restrictions on live music begin to ease it's been great to get back out there and play for people albeit in a restricted capacity. Two recent outdoor performances in Kent include a guitar Duo for a promotional video for the excellent Pilgrims Hospice back in June. The other was a set at Ashford Bandstand for the excellent production company organisation Revelation Ashford last Saturday.
Like so many venues and promoters, the financial impact of the covid virus was hard-hitting. Having worked with Revelation for a few years now it was really sad to hear of the struggles they faced. The great news is they've managed to keep things going and are now putting on reduced, socially-distanced performances again. It was really heart-warming to get booked a couple of times this year.
My next appearance at the bandstand will be on Saturday 3rd October at midday. Here's a short video clip from last Saturday.

My next local Kent performance is this Friday 31st July at 6pm - 8pm outside at Cafe Don Juan in Canterbury. Come along for ridiculously good food and hot, socially-distanced Gypsy Swing!

My Duo consists of guitar with a choice of either a second guitar, double bass, violin, accordion or saxophone/clarinet.
The Trio consists of two guitars and double bass (seen playing the Gypsy Jazz classic 'Django's Tiger' in the video below). You can also have different instrumentation! Start with one guitar then add two other instruments of choice from second guitar, double bass, violin, accordion or sax/clarinet.
I'm based in Kent but happy to travel anywhere in the South-East and South of England for a booking during these difficult times.
