Live Public Gigs August 30th Broadstairs & September 2nd Epsom | Jonny Hepbir Solo & Gypsy Jazz Duo

JONNY HEPBIR SOLO GYPSY JAZZ GUITARIST playing live this Bank Holiday Weekend Sunday 30th August in Broadstairs, Kent and JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ GUITAR DUO Wednesday 2nd September in Epsom, Surrey.

I'm ecstatically happy to have two public gigs over the next couple of days. Being a professional musician the pandemic has really hit hard at not just mine but the livelihoods of pretty much every pro I know. We're not out of the woods yet by any means but it's warming to be asked to play a couple of outside dates over the next few days.

The first is a Solo Djangathon on Sunday 30th August 4pm-6pm outside at the Magnet Micropub in Broadstairs, Kent. This gig, like so many others now, is weather dependent. The forecasts look good so fingers crossed!

Moving on to Wednesday 2nd September 12pm-2.30pm at Epsom Marketplace in Surrey when I will be playing in my Gypsy Jazz Guitar Duo. This is part of a great initiative by MGSO4 Festival Group and Go Epsom to get live music happening again in the area. Very happy to be invited to play along with an eclectic line-up of Artists performing there over the next few weeks.

Details can be found HERE.

Both these events are FREE so if you're in either area, please pop down!

I'm ending this blog post with a Duo clip from our very first video session back in October 2010. The hairstyles have changed but the playing is just as swinging.
