The JONNY HEPBIR TRIO had a great time at the weekend playing for a 50th Anniversary gathering in Ramsgate, Kent.
The weather stayed good and we gave our hosts a couple of sets of classic Django Reinhardt style, Gypsy Jazz swing. Always a pleasure performing for lovely occasions like this.

It was a bit of a crazy day, as soon as we finished, I had to dash off to Balham, South London to play with maestro Pete Long's Pocket Basie Band at popular venue The Bedford for South London Swing's Swing fest event.
These dance events are always great to be a part of and this one was no exception!
Pocket Basie is a swinging six-piece band comprising of some of the finest Jazz musicians in the U.K.
I LOVE playing with this band and always get mega-excited when I get the call to join them.
On this occasion it was bandleader Pete on tenor sax and compere duties with the superb Enrico Tomasso on trumpet, Colin Goode on piano, Joe Pettitt double bass, Richard Pite drums and myself on acoustic guitar.
