JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ GIGS IN KENT
May is looking a busy month with a good few public gigs as well as a nice run of private bookings if you want to come and hear some swing guitar a la Django.
First up is my bi-monthly SOLO residency at the Hop and Huffkin in Sandwich #Kent on Tuesday 1st May 8pm till 10pm.
Great food and ales with yours truly swinging away on guitar for a couple of hours. Booking recommended!

Next up is the JONNY HEPBIR QUINTET at the excellent Steyning Jazz Club on Friday 4th May at 8pm (doors 7.15pm).
We’ve been playing here pretty regularly over the last 20 years! In the current band format, the good people there have had us perform once a year for the last 6 years, which is pretty cool as they only put on twelve concerts a year.
Always a sell-out, so best to book in advance by clicking the jazz club link above.
On Sunday 6th May I shall be once again, turning on the swing at the ever-popular Fez micropub in Margate Kent.
This is such a cool place to play and very unique for the area, well worth a visit if you’re thirsty and like a bit of quirk.
We loved it so much our band shot all the new videos there.
Things get hot from 3.30pm that day.

On Friday 11th May and Friday 18th May, I shall be returning to play solo for my residency at the superb Bistro At Lympne Castle in Kent from 7pm.
Top cuisine in a lovely setting with me playing nicely chilled but still hot, swing guitar!
Capping off the solo public gigs is another visit to the fab Waiting Room on the Folkestone Harbour Arm in Kent on Sunday 20th May 5-7pm.
Top tapas and beverages have them packing it in and the sounds of #DjangoReinhardt style guitar merely adds to the afternoon’s enjoyment.
