After a great guitar duo concert for Revelation Ashford Fireside Sparks series, we were delighted to be asked back to perform as the Jonny Hepbir Quartet.
It was a real pleasure to perform in front of such a warm, appreciative audience, not to mention the lovely setting and excellent acoustics of St. Mary's Church where the concert was held.
We played a mixture of popular jazz and GypsyJazz tunes from the 1920's through to the 1940's, as well as throwing in the odd Latin tune here and there to spice things up a bit.
It's always great fun to play as the Quartet, but we did also manage to sneak in a cheeky Trio number after the intermission and warmed the audience back up with a quick version of Brazil / Aquarela Do Brasil before launching into the Quartet's second set.
If you missed us in concert this time, you'll be able to catch us again as the Jonny Hepbir Quartet at Sawbridgeworth Jazz Club in Essex on Friday 16th November 2018. To buy tickets, please visit their website by clicking HERE.
Here's one of the tunes we played last night, Sweet Georgia Brown...
