Here's a shot of my Trio playing recently at a fabulous Vintage style Wedding reception in Wormingford, Essex.
The Trio specialise in the hypnotic rhythms associated with Continental style Jazz Manouche, Gypsy Swing or Gypsy Jazz as it's generally referred to. Made famous by the Paris-based group The Hot Club Of France in the 1930's & 1940's featuring legendary musicians Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
With a few helpings of groovy Latin-style Bossas thrown in for variety, our upbeat swing jazz style is guaranteed to keep your guests tapping their toes while you get on with the important stuff like enjoying your big day!
The video above is the Jonny Hepbir Trio playing 'Brazil' with a bit of the Bossa groove mixed up with the timeless swing jazz sound.
Our clients, Frank and Alex had a Vintage-themed, Festival style Wedding in the grounds of their amazing 300 year old house.
Guests camped overnight and partied the whole weekend.
Here's a couple of pictures from the day. You can see we were cunningly disguised amongst the foliage for both our sets.
It's possible to hire the Trio as our classic line-up of 2 guitars and double bass or swap a guitar or the bass and choose another instrument from violin, accordion, clarinet/saxophone or female vocals.
If space or budget is an issue, you can down-size to a Duo or even myself on SOLO GYPSY JAZZ GUITAR.
