The video above is the first of three diverse tunes I worked on and recorded during the last lockdown here in Kent.
This one is a version of Beethoven's famous 7th Symphony which I've always loved.
Having a bit of time on my hands, I started thinking if it was possible to take the 'theme' and develop it into a Gypsy Jazz classic.
This carries on the tradition of the Django/Jazz Manouche style of guitar arranging as there are lots of famous classical pieces that have been adapted for the genre.
It took some work but I'm very happy with the end result, a slightly different take on the grand masterpiece.
