We had the pleasure of being booked to play for our client Mark's family #celebration #party recently. They wanted pumping #acoustic #Gypsyjazz to help create the atmosphere for their special #occasion which was held outdoors at #Clissoldpark in #Hackney #London. What better way to create the mood than with the popular Jonny Hepbir Trio.
What was unusual about this performance was that it was in a public open space. The family brought lots of delicious food and drink for a picnic, making sure to set up under a huge tree to keep the glorious August sun from heating up everything, including the trio!
We played entirely acoustically, something the #band are used to especially for venues that have sound issues or intimate gatherings with a small number of guests. Needless to say, we still managed to draw quite a crowd apart from Mark's family when we started to play. With quite a few picnicers setting up close to the spot, things got pretty busy, but we were more than happy to spread the musical love.
