It was a great pleasure to play some SWING JAZZ tunes last Saturday for an arts project at Singleton Environment Centre near Ashford in Kent. This was part of an initiative by the good people at Emergency Exit Arts who specialise in creating amazing events for different communities all over the U.K.
I'm pictured above with Flora The Singleton Giant who was awakened in 2006 at the Community Woodlands connecting Singleton, Great Chart and Chilmington Green.
It was a lovely event to be asked to play at, with families from all the new communities around Singleton coming together and taking part in positive, bonding activities.
This coming weekend I have a couple of Kent public gigs coming up!
The first is on Friday 23rd September from 8pm, where I'll be at the super Eats 'n' Beats Cafe in Ramsgate. Located in 2-3 Addington Street CT11 9JN this fine bistro is renowned for fine food and special music events..like this one!
Come on down for a drink and/or food, booking recommended.
The next day, Saturday 24th September 1pm, I'll be back playing for Revelation Ashford on the Bandstand located in the middle of town, with a spot of lunchtime pomping to entertain everyone with.
