Last Saturday I was surprised and very grateful that Ashford Council had given the go-ahead to allow the fab Revelation Ashford to put on a few live, socially distanced musical events at Ashford Bandstand in December.
With such a dreadful year for musicians and hospitality folk in general, it was an unexpected pleasure to be invited to play live again so soon.
Normally we'd all be looking at a busy period performing at parties, Winter weddings, hotels, bars etc but with the restrictions in place, things have been very bleak.
It was really great to get the Django-bells ringing again albeit for a short while.
Here's hoping very much that 2021 brings a more positive vibe to everyone's life.
